Finding contacts in the phonebook
The search mask for the phonebook search is very sim-
ilar to the form for entering contact data. It lets you en-
ter a range of search criteria to narrow down your
searches. In large phonebooks, this is particularly help-
ful when you only know the street name or zip code, for
example.
u Press the key shown.
Select and confirm the option shown.
Select and confirm the option shown in the context
menu.
The search mask opens.
Select and confirm the field you want.
j Complete and confirm.
Example:
If you enter "Wa" in the "Surname" field, all contacts with
a last name starting with "Wa" are listed.
The phonebook entries matching the search criteria are
listed.
Select and confirm the contact you want.
Select and confirm the option shown in the context
menu.
The party found is called.
The quick search option lets you search the
phonebook on the basis of the first letters of the
last name Æ page 86.
