Deactivating the ring tone
You can deactivate your ring tone if you do not want to
be disturbed by your phone ringing.
Deactivating the ring tone using the keypad
* Hold down the key until the "Ringer off" icon appears in
the status bar on the display Æ page 19.
The ring tone is deactivated.
* To switch the function back on, hold down the key until
the "Ringer off" icon disappears from the status bar on
the display.
Deactivating the ring tone using a programmable
sensor key
Prerequisite: The "Ringer off" programmable sensor
key must be programmed Æ page 52.
R Press the "Ringer off" programmable sensor key.
An incoming call is signaled by a single ring tone burst.
T The programmable sensor key blinks.
S Press the lit programmable sensor key once more to de-
activate the "Ringer off" function.
