Step by Step
Locking the phone
You can lock your phone to prevent an unauthorized par-
ty from using it to make calls or change your user set-
tings.
Emergency numbers and predefined numbers from the
dial plan can still be dialed when the phone is locked.
For more information, contact your administrator.
Locking/unlocking the phone via the dial key
# Press the key shown until the following message ap-
pears on the display: "Phone lock: confirm locking the
phone".
In the pop-up menu:
Select and confirm the option shown. The phone lock
activates immediately.
# To unlock the phone, hold down the key shown until the
following message appears on the display: "Unlock
phone - Enter Password".
j Enter and confirm the user password.
The phone lock is deactivated.
Locking the phone via the User menu
v Press the key shown until the application’s "Settings"
tab is active.

menu.
Select and confirm the option shown. The phone lock
activates immediately.
You can only lock the phone if you set a user
password Æ page 92. The password for this
should not match the default "000000".
