To establish a connection with the SCALANCE devices, the engineering PC is
connected with port 1.1 of the respective SCALANCE.

Resetting SCALANCE
If you are not using brand-new SCALANCE devices, it is recommended to reset
both devices to factory settings.
That way you can be sure that no old configuration is stored in the SCALANCE.
For instructions on how to reset the SCALANCE, refer to the Device manual.
