4.8 BusAdapter BA LC/RJ45
De󹪝nition
You connect the IO device to the PROFINET IO system via the BusAdapter BA LC/RJ45.
Description
The node communicates via two ports.
• Port 1 o󹪜ers the option of connecting an LC connector.
When data is transferred via port 1, it is 󹪝rst sent as a di󹪜erential signal to the LC transceiver.
It is converted there for optical data transmission and vice versa.
• Port 2 allows the connection of an RJ45 connector.
When data is transmitted via port 2, the di󹪜erential signals of the IO device are output
electrically isolated via the BusAdapter.
