2.4 Reset communication module to factory settings
There are two ways to reset to factory settings:
• PROFINET factory reset
• SIMATIC S7-PCT Factory Reset

SIMATIC S7-PCT Factory Reset
You trigger the reset to the factory settings in SIMATIC S7-PCT tool.
A reset is performed completely by IO-Link application and affects IO-Link related data.
• The port modes remain in the currently used mode
• Non-volatile memory is reset (content of the IO-Link data memory is lost)
