5.1 Programming with STEP 7 (TIA Portal)
5.1.1 Overview of instructions
Introduction
The TM FAST technology module is used with the instructions of the LTMFAST instruction
library.
Note
Call the LTMFAST_ControlREC instruction cyclically together with the other LTMFAST
instructions you use in the same OB, e.g. in OB1.
LTMFAST_ControlREC connects to the module and displays the status
of the module. The
other LTMFAST instructions are called only as needed. The respective TM
FAST is identified by
the link to LTMFAST_ControlREC.
Note
Whether you need LTMFAST instructions depends on your use case. You do
not need
instructions with the following procedure:
1.
Load once the desired TM FAST application into the flash memory of the module with the
commissioning editor in the TIA Portal (Page 26) or with MFCT
(https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109773881).
2.
In the hardware configuration of the module, activate the parameters "Load TM FAST
application during startup" and "Always activate TM FAST application".
