Selection of a control monitor that is to trigger the
variable monitor.
Creation of a new control monitor that is to trigger
the variable monitor.

SELECTION
Variables x – y of y
Variables Table of the variables configured in the variable
monitor.
DISPLAY
Edit variable Change to a window to record and insert the
following variable:
• Predefined NC variables
or
• Freely definable variable of PLC, NC, S7, S5,
etc.
Note:
An appropriate OPC driver or GenTec adapter is
required for freely definable variables. For more
information, contact your Siemens sales
representative.
ACTION
Time series Displays the time series of the selected variables. DISPLAY
Name Name of the variable. DISPLAY
Warning limit Displays the configured values for the warning
limits.
DISPLAY
Critical limit Displays the configured values for the critical limit. DISPLAY
Activates the limit value of type upper limit. ACTION
Activates the limit value of type lower limit. ACTION
Displays the time series of the variable as
diagram.

Deletes the variable from the configuration of the
variable monitor.
