10.Separate the ange face of the stator from the machine housing and the ange face of the
rotor from the moving axis.
Do not damage the O rings if you remove a motor with cooling jacket from the precisely
dimensioned bore. It is not permissible that you re-use damaged O rings.
Carefully move the removed rotor, as the transport locks are only at one end.
11.Attach the transport locks to the still unprotected ange face of the motor.
12.This point only applies to motors with cooling jacket:
If you wish to reuse the O rings from the motor cooling jacket surface, then you must not
damage the O rings when removing them:
– Do not overstretch the O‑rings. Do not stretch the O‑rings more than 10%.
– Do not twist the O‑rings.
– Do not use any sharp objects!
– Use the appropriate equipment and installation devices.
13.Pack the motor in its original packaging and store the motor properly.
❒
Note
We recommend using new O-rings when the motor with cooling jacket is reassembled. You can
reorder O-rings as spare parts. You will nd the order designation in the Conguration Manual.
