WARNING
Exceeding the permissible cable length of the brake control
If the permissible cable length of the brake control is exceeded this can result in death or
serious injury in the event of an error.
• The maximum permissible cable length of 300 m between the 230 V AC Safe Brake
Adapter and the brake must be carefully maintained.
• To accurately calculate the maximum cable length, see the SINAMICS Low Voltage
Configuration Manual on the customer DVD supplied with the device.

Correctly mounting the housing cover after replacing a fuse
An adhesive label is provided on the housing cover indicating the position of the connector.
Mount the cover in the correct position so that the inscription of the label matches the actual
connectors.
