If the permissible cable length of the brake control is exceeded this can result in death or
serious injury in the event of an error.
• The maximum permissible cable length of 300 m between the 230 VAC Safe Brake
Adapter and the brake must be carefully maintained.
• To accurately calculate the maximum cable length, see the SINAMICS Low Voltage
Configuration Manual on the customer DVD supplied with the device.
