Type A PTC temperature sensor
If a type A temperature sensor is connected to a thermistor motor protection relay,
compliance with the operating temperatures is assured (on pick-up and reset) according to
IEC 60947-8.
The characteristic curves of the Type A temperature sensors are described in the standards
IEC 60947-8, EN 44081, and EN 44082.

Depending on the number of sensors connected in series, the following tripping and restart
temperatures will result based on the TNF (rated response temperature of the sensor):
