The computer starts automatically when the UPS or the PSB is
switched on. Do not switch on the computer directly. Booting runs
in the following phases:
• Start-up of the operating system
• Start-up of
syngo
After starting up
syngo
, the Examination task card and the
Checkup dialog box appear.
3 Click Checkup.
The automatic checkup procedure executes a set of functions to
ensure that the CT scanner is well conditioned and is able to
provide high quality images.
CAUTION
When you restart the system, the detector has not yet
reached operating temperature!
Wrong diagnosis due to image artifacts.
◆ Calibrate the system as part of the checkup. Repeat
calibration (
Setup > Calibration) if ring artifacts occur.
