6.3 Check list for commissioning

Verify the circuit breaker is OPEN
Verify the Rating Plug is installed

Verify the TRIP indicator is reset
Set the trip unit to appropriate values

Apply secondary and control voltages
Close the cubicle door
Rack circuit breaker into connected position
Push in the racking handle
Charge closing spring
Ensure the following conditions exist
Undervoltage release energized
Shunt trip(s) not energized
Electrical closing lockout

not energized
Electrical interlocking of closing coil
in the switch board control wiring
disabled
Locking devices not activated
Indicators
