9.1 Slope of Specified Curves, Linear Curves
− The slope of a specified acceleration curve is defined as the time required to
accelerate the rotor to 1000 rpm.
− With linear and quadratic slopes, curves are numbered in the direction of
increasing acceleration (from right to left).
− The deceleration curves are inverted images of the acceleration curves with
the same numbers (exception: curve 0).
− Curve 0 decelerates brakeless.
Comment: The acceleration time depends on the moment of inertia of the rotor.
