      If the Silicon Graphics monitor displays 'NO INPUT SIGNAL', first, if 'ACTIVATE USING PC' appears, press any key on the computer and ensure the graphic board is correctly seated. If 'CHECK INPUT SELECTOR' appears, change the input signal. If 'CHECK SIGNAL CABLE' appears, verify the monitor is correctly connected to the computer.

      If you see 'OUT OF SCAN RANGE' on your Silicon Graphics monitor, and you've recently replaced an old monitor, reconnect the old monitor. Then, adjust your computer's graphic board so that the horizontal frequency is between 30 - 121 kHz and the vertical frequency is between 48 - 160 Hz.

      If the picture on your Silicon Graphics monitor is fuzzy, try adjusting the brightness and contrast. You can also degauss the monitor. If 'CANCEL MOIRE' is ON, the picture may become fuzzy, so decrease the moire cancellation effect or set 'CANCEL MOIRE' to OFF.
