Ironing with steam blast
ATTENTION!
► Sensitive types of fabric such as synthetics or silk can be damaged by steam
blast ironing. Only use the steam blast function on garments that are suitable
for it (see table in section Care instructions
) .
Note
► The steam blast function is particularly suitable for smoothing thick or heavily
creased textiles or hard-to-reach areas of a garment.
► With the steam blast function, you can blast single bursts of steam during
both steam ironing and dry ironing (steam control 3 to position 0).
1) Allow the steam iron to heat up until the heat indicator LED 8 lights up
continuously.
2) Lift the steam iron slightly and hold it a few centimetres above the garment.
3) Briefly press the steam blast button
4 several times at intervals of approx.
5 seconds ( see Fig. 6).

4) Touch the garment lightly with the soleplate q and steam it to remove wrinkles.
