9. Cleaning and storing
Clean the device prior to its first use!
DANGER! Risk of electric
shock!
~ Pull the mains plug out of the wall socket
before you clean the device.
DANGER! Risk of injury
through burning!
~ Allow all the parts to cool down before
cleaning.
WARNING! Risk of material damage!
~ Do not use any astringent or abrasive
cleaning agents.
• Clean the device after each use and re-
move all food residues.
1. Clean the appliance with a damp cloth.
A little detergent may also be used.
2. Wipe off with clean water.
3. Do not use the appliance again until it
is completely dry.
9.1 Cleaning rack and lid
1. Clean the rack13 and lid1 by hand
in the sink.
2. Rinse off with clean water.
9.2 Cleaning tap
The tap lever4 can be unscrewed to make
it easier to clean. The tap itself 5 cannot be
unscrewed as there might otherwise be
problems with leakage.
1. Unscrew the tap lever4 from the tap5.
2. Clean the tap lever

by hand in the sink.
3. Rinse off with clean water.
4. Add a mild detergent solution to the
container3 and allow it to run through
the tap5.
NOTE: Pipe cleaners can help with any
stubborn dirt remaining in the tap5.
