► In the event of a power failure, any programmed alarm times will be deac-
tivated and not reactivated when the power comes back if no batteries are
inserted in the battery compartment

Interrupt alarm (SNOOZE function)
♦ You can interrupt the alarm for 9 minutes by using the SNOOZE function. To
do this, press the SNOOZE
|
SLEEP button t as soon as the alarm sounds.
If the SNOOZE function is active, either or or or flashes in
the display 4 depending on the alarm type which has been set.
Switching off the alarm
♦ While the alarm is sounding, press either the
|
MEM button z or the
|
AMS button e or the −VOLUME+ | /FUNC. dial 1 to switch off
the alarm for 24 hours.
NOTE
► If the alarm is not manually deactivated, the device will switch off the alarm
automatically after 1 hour.
Switching the alarm off completely
Requirement: The device is in clock/standby mode.
♦ To switch off Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 completely, press the
|
MEM button
z or the
|
AMS button e for about 2 seconds until the alarm time

♦ Press the

MEM button z or the
|
AMS button e until the alarm
type or or or flash in the display 4.
♦ Turn the −TIMER+ dial
8 to the right to set the alarm type to (Off).
♦ Press the

MEM button z or the

AMS button e to save the

Switching the radio mode on/off
NOTE
► The technical features of this device enable an adjustable reception capa-
bility that exceeds the permitted FM frequency range of 87.5–108MHz.
