Through
The "Punch Through" (VOL/MUTE) function enables you
to use the volume and mute functions on another type of
device other than the one currently being used.
Image transmission devices that connect to a TV (e.g.
DVD, VCR, SAT, CBL) often do not have their own
volume control.
If the universal remote control is currently operating such
a device and the VOL (Volume) or (Mute) buttons
are pressed then they will operate the volume control of
the TV.
