2OntheleftsideoftheInstallationdialogbox,selectSoftwareLicense.
3SelectTypeLicenseString,andtypethelicensestringintothedialogbox.
4SelectOKtosavethelicensestringandclosetheTypeLicenseStringdialogbox.
5VerifythatthelicensestringisplacedintheCurrentlyactivelicenseslist.
6SelectApplyandthenClosetosavealltheparametersandclosetheInstallationdialog
box.
DeningtheIPaddressontheProcessorUnit
networkadapterforcommunicationwiththe
transceiver
TheProcessorUnitandthetransceiver(s)communicateonahighcapacityEthernetcable.
Ifmorethanonetransceiverisused,anEthernetswitchisadded.OntheProcessorUnit,
denetheIPaddressandSubnetmaskfortheEthernetportusedtocommunicatewiththe
transceiver(s).TheEK80automaticallyassignsanIPaddresstoeachtransceiverwhen
theyareturnedoffandon.

Thisprocedureisonlyperformedonce,unlessyoumakechangestoyoursystem.

1OntheProcessorUnit,closetheEK80program.
2OpentheNetworkConnectionsdialogbox.
3SelectUsethefollowingIPaddress,andtypetheIPaddressandnetworkmask.
•IPAddress:157.237.15.12
IPaddressforthetransceivernetworkadapter.
Anyaddresscanbeused,but157.237.15.12isrecommendedforlegacyreasons.
ThisisparticularlyimportantifyoursystemcontainsoldGPTtransceivers.
