If the MMSI is blank, a dashed line will appear, except for the initial number ’9’. Then 2.
enter ATIS MMSI along the dashed line. Press ENTER to conrm each entry and then
move to the next line.
If you make an error, press CH3.

and return to the menu.
You can view your stored ATIS MMSI at anytime by selecting ATIS MMSI in the ATIS 6.

4-9-2 Enable ATIS Functionality (ATIS SELECT)
When ATIS is enabled, the following occurs:
DUAL watch, Tri Watch and scan functions are disabled.•
Inland waterways rules require 1 W Tx power on Channels 06, 08, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, •
17, 71, 72, 74, and 77 and 31 if enabled.
To enable/disable ATIS:
MENU SELECT
GPS/DATA
RADIO SETUP
>ATIS SETUP
ATIS SETUP
ATIS MMSI
>ATIS SELECT
ATIS SELECT
ON
> OFF
Select ATIS SETUP, then ATIS SELECT. Press 1. ENTER to display ATIS SELECT ON/OFF.
Select ON to turn the ATIS function on. 2.
Press the ENTER to conrm your choice and return to the menu. 3.
4-10 Get Buddy
Enable or Disable data auto function (GET BUDDY)
Enable buddy mode: Radio will transmit your LL data to the opposite after you release the
PTT key, if the opposite is GET BUDDY ON also, it will show the distance and USER MMSI
(or ATIS MMSI) of the sender.
