SimNet must be powered with 12 V power supply DC.

SIMNET - RULES
To make the SimNet backbone operative it must be termi-
nated at each end (impedance: 60 Ώ). The wind vane is
fitted with an internal terminator.
Do not cut the SimNet cables. The 9 mm diameter connec-
tors are designed to go through the deck.
Bad, or non conform connections will result in network
instability.
12V DC
Max: 6 m
Sensor with integrated cables (eg: compass, rudder)
have a de ned length ( 5 m)
They must not be shortened,
or lengthened.
Avoid long drop cables (max 6 m) and multi derivation installations.
Failure to follow these rules will result in network instability.
