malfunction of the device caused by the user's modification of the device.
5.3 Instruction for use of Vertical imaging stand
For safe and convenient use of the portable X-ray machine, this product can be
configured to an optional portable foldaway elevating rack. See Fig. 5-3. The user may
acquire additional stand that complies with the following essential requirements:
a) IEC 60601-1 safety standard.
b) The recommended maximum load that the stand can safely carry is 30kgs.
c) Can be firmly installed with the 8230S Portable X-ray Unit.
Please refer to the instruction manual of the stand and install the 8230S unit on the stand
properly.
Caution: The use of the device stand is necessary to take x-ray images for most
body parts. Only some radiographs of extremities can be taken without the support of the
optional Vertical imaging stand.
