2.8 GPS module (optional)
An external GPS module is available as an option. When fitted, GPS data can be
requested by the IMx-8/IMx-8Plus, via Modbus RTU, over the RS485 2-wire
connection. On this interface the IMx is the master device and the GPS module, the
slave device.
The GPS module is connected to the IMx, top end cap, refer Table 4 below and
section 3.3.1 or 3.3.3.
