1.5.2 Provision of personal protective equipment
The end user must provide suitable personal protective equipment for the respective operation site and the intended use.
Foreseeable misuse
Any use differing from that stated in these instructions is strictly prohibited, particularly the following:
use outside the indicated temperature range, see Technical specifications ST-1240-GRAPH
use in areas with aggressive or corrosive materials (e.g. high ozone pollution);
use in areas with harmful radiation (e.g. ionising radiation);
feeding, forwarding or storing hazardous substances and mixtures described in Annex I pos. 25 of the CLP regulation (EG
1272/2008) and marked with warnings GHS01GHS06 and GHS08;
feeding, forwarding or storing the following: gases, liquefied gases, dissolved gases, vapours or fluids whose vapour pressure
exceeds normal atmospheric pressure (1,013 mbar) by more than 0.5 bar at the maximum permissible operating temperature;
and
use in an explosion protection zone.

Modifying the product
Unauthorised alteration or modification may have unforeseeable effects on product safety and functionality. Therefore, any
unauthorised alteration or modification is expressly prohibited.

Painting plastic components and seals
The painting of the plastic components and seals of the products described is prohibited. Completely cover or remove plastic
components before painting the main machine.
Safety markings on the product
NOTE
Further to the findings of the workplace risk evaluation the operating company has to attach additional markings (e. g.
warnings, signs giving orders, prohibition signs or labelling as specified by CLP / GHS), where appropriate.
