Turning
Handlebar controls the steering of the vehicle. As the handlebar is
rotated to right or left, the skis are turned right or left to steer the
snowmobile.
Starting the Engine
Re-check throttle control lever operation.
Ensure that engine cut-out switch is in the ON position.
Ensure that tether cut-out cap is set in place and that cord is at-
tached to your clothing.
Initial Cold Starting
NOTE: Do not operate the throttle lever during starting.
When Temperature is Below - 10°C (+ 15°F)
Set the choke lever to the second position.
Grasp starter handle, pull handle slowly until a resistance is felt then,
hold handle firmly and pull vigorously to start engine or use electric
starter on so equipped models.
After the engine is started, close off choke to ensure proper air-fuel
mix when speed drops below 2000 RPM.
