30) Fuel Tank Cap/Gauge
On some models fuel level gauge is part of fuel tank cap. Unscrew
to fill up tank then fully tighten.
CAUTION: Do not mismatch oil reservoir cap with fuel tank cap.
Oil reservoir cap is identified OIL.
NOTE: Do not sit or lean on seat when fuel tank cap is not properly
installed.
WARNING
Always stop engine before refueling. Fuel tank may be pressur-
ized, open cap slowly. Fuel is flammable and explosive. Never
use an open flame to check fuel level. Never smoke or allow
flame or spark in vicinity. Always work in a well-ventilated area.
Never top up the fuel tank before placing the vehicle in a warm
area. As temperature increases, fuel expands and may over-
flow. Always wipe off any fuel spillage from the vehicle.
