POST-OPERATION CARE
Shut off the engine. Install rear of vehicle on a wide-base snowmobile
mechanical stand.
Remove snow and ice from rear suspension, track, front suspension,
steering mechanism and skis.
Protect vehicle with a snowmobile cover.
SPECIAL OPERATIONS
Riding at High Altitudes
If you ride at altitudes above 600 m (2000 ft), your snowmobile should
have modifications. Refer to an authorized SKI-DOO dealer. Summit
models are factory calibrated for high altitude. These models must be
converted for sea level utilization.
CAUTION: Do not change original factory calibration if snowmo-
bile is used below 600 m (2000 ft) (except Summit models).
Engine Overheating
Engine overheating pilot lamp will light up if engine is too hot.
Reduce snowmobile speed and run snowmobile in loose snow or
stop engine immediately.
Check for adequate coolant level. See an authorized SKI-DOO dealer.
