Chapter: Diagnostics

The ESN100 has a number of functions to allow the user to simulate, diagnose and optimise the
system.
The Diagnostics setup will help identify the problem.
Parameter Description
Simulate depth Make a depth of the desired value (Depth button) To test outputs and
alarms, alternatively have a moving depth , or run a simulation from
le.
Depth The value to be sent, or the value the moving depth will move above
and below.
Test alarm Send all known alarms to the output. (These can be acknowledged/
silenced/ changed as a normal alarm/alert)
Noise self test Run this to check the Noise levels of the system
SNR Calibration Run this calibration to tune the system once installed in the vessel
Show Noise results Show the results of the noise test (See below)
Noise self test will run a series of pings and measurement within the system to nd the noise con-
ditions. These can be inspected by pressing the show noise button
