6 Trouble shooting instructions
Error Cause Remedy
The pump will not start Fuse blown Change fuse
Supply voltage not connected Connect supply voltage.
Defective cable New cable
Defective plug/socket New plug/socket
The pump is frozen Thaw the pump, reset protective
motor switch
Relay/protective motor switch
activated
Reset protective motor switch
The pump stops shortly after
start
Water supply insufficient Check filters and supply valve
One phase is lacking Check/change fuse, reset pro-
tective motor switch
Pump pressure too high Reduce pressure (service work)
Open ball valves/nozzles miss-
ing
Close ball valves/mount nozzles
The pressure varies (is unstable
and jerky)
Water supply, too little water/
clogged
Check the amount of water
The filters must not be sucked
empty
Water supply filter clogged Change filters
Defective pump valves or dirt in
the pump valve
Change or clean valve
Clogged nozzles Nozzle end clogged Remove the nozzle end and
place it in an acid of vinegar and
water solution (1:4) for 24 hours.
Then clean it with compressed
air
Filter at nozzle clogged Replace the filter
Nozzles do not atomize The swivel is stuck Clean the nozzle end with the
swivel in acetic acid
The pump is very hot and runs
jerkily with varying pressures
Safety valve defective. The
valve must open and lead the
water to the sewer when the
pump is approx. 60°C.
Replace the safety valve
Water is running constantly from
the safety valve even though the
pump is cold
The safety valve is defective Replace the safety valve
The pipes move Air in the system Bleed the system at end nozzle
