7 Maintenance instructions
The service life of the pump and the warranty depend on whether the recommended routines and general
maintenance requirements are observed or not.
7.1 Recommended routines
Daily routines Weekly routines Monthly routines Start of a new batch
Check the pressure.
The pump pressure
must be 60-70 bar.
Check oil level every
two weeks.
Check the filters every
month.
Look for impurities
(sand, ochre, etc.) in
the water.
Open drain ball valve at
the end of the pipe.
Check the nozzles daily
to ensure that they
spray satisfactorily.
If necessary, brush the
nozzles with a stiff
brush with plastic bris-
tles.
Check the safety of the
pump every month.
The pump must stop
automatically if the wa-
ter pressure drops be-
low 0.5 bar.
Turn off the water sup-
ply and let the pump
run. It must stop within
60 seconds.
Start the pump in man-
ual mode and flush the
installation for approxi-
mately 5 minutes to re-
move old water, which
may contain bacteria.
7.2 Oil change
Remember to change oil.
The first time after approx. 50 hours, then once a year.
Remove the dipstick and suck the oil out.
Fill up with oil and reinsert the dipstick.

0.3 liter oil
Model 12/14 l/min
0.4 liter oil
Model 18.5/21 l/min
1 liter oil
Use SAE 15W-40 mineral oil (777071).
7.3 Filter change
Change filters at least once a year, or as required.
Turn off the water.
Insert new filters by removing the union nut.
Insert new filter cartridges (the 5 micron filter is the first fil-
ter mounted after the water supply; the 1 micron filter is the
next one).
