Troubleshooting Information - Electrical System
4.1-1. All Controls Inoperative
1. Batteries disconnected or discharged.
-Connect batteries or recharge.
2. Battery charger plugged into an outside source.
-Disconnect charger cord.
3. Dirty or loose battery terminals.
-Clean and tighten terminals.
4. Main battery cables open or defective.
-Check continuity. Replace if defective.
5. Main Fuse (F12) defective.
-Replace fuse.
6. Defective Battery Charger Relay (LCR1) or (LCR2).
-Check relay. Replace if defective.
7. Defective or tripped Circuit Breaker (CB2).
-Reset Circuit Breaker. Replace if defective.
8. Loose or broken wire #01 from Battery Charger Relay (LCR1) to Circuit Breaker (CB2).
-Check continuity. Replace if defective.
9. Loose or broken wire #01A from Battery Charger Relay (LCR1) to Battery Charger Relay (LCR2).
-Check continuity. Replace if defective.
10. Loose or broken wire #03 from Battery Charger Relay (LCR2) to Converter.
-Check continuity. Replace if defective.
11. Defective Converter.
-Check for 24 volts between wire #3A and #B-, 48 volts between #03 and #B-.
12. Defective Contactor (C10B-2).
-Check contactor. Replace if defective.
13. Loose or broken wire #10B from Contactor (C10B-2) to Motor Control Plug (CN5).
-Check continuity. Replace if defective.
14. Defective or tripped Circuit Breaker (CB1).
-Reset circuit breaker. Replace if defective.
15. Loose or broken wire #B- from Circuit Breaker (CB1) to Converter.
-Check continuity. Replace if defective.
16. Defective or tripped Circuit Breaker (CB3).
-Reset circuit breaker. Replace if defective.
17. Loose or broken wire #3A from Converter to Circuit Breaker (CB3).
-Check continuity. Replace if defective.
18. Loose or broken wire #3B from Circuit Breaker (CB3) to (optional) Pressure Switch (PS1).
-Check continuity. Replace if defective.
19. Loose or broken wire #4 from Pressure Switch (PS1) (optional) to Base Emergency Stop Switch (S4).
-Check continuity. Replace if defective.
20. Open or defective Base Emergency Stop Switch (S4).
-Close switch. Replace if defective.
21. Loose or broken wire #21A or #02 on Coil (2H-21A).
-Check continuity. Replace if defective.
22. Defective Coil (2H-21A).
-Check coil. Replace if defective.
23. Defective Fuse (F3).
-Replace fuse.
24. Defective Base Selector Platform/Base Switch (S5) (ANSI/SIA and CSA only).
-Check switch. Replace if defective.
25. Loose or broken wire #4A from Base Emergency Stop Switch (S4) to Base Selector Platform/Base Switch
(S5)(ANSI/SIA and CSA only).
-Check continuity. Replace if defective.
