5.4.4 Connecting the PV Array (DC)
1. Disconnect the miniature circuit-breaker and secure against re-connection.
2. If an Electronic Solar Switch is installed, pull it
downwards, slightly towards the wall.
3. Check the connection cables of the PV modules for
correct polarity and make sure that the maximum
input voltage of the inverter is not exceeded.
At ambient temperatures above 10 °C, the open-
circuit voltage of the PV modules must not be more
than 90 % of the maximum inverter input voltage.
Otherwise, check the plant design and the PV
module connection. If this is not done, the maximum
inverter input voltage can be exceeded at lower
ambient temperatures.
DANGER!
Danger to life due to high voltages in the inverter.
• Before connecting the PV array, ensure that the miniature circuit-breaker is switched
off.
NOTICE!
Excessive voltages can destroy the measuring device.
• Only use measuring devices with a DC input voltage range up to at least 1 000 V.
