6. Check the offset error:
”120.06 TotBatCur” should be around zero.
7. Connect the battery current sensor cables correctly again, as shown in the figure.
Make sure the wires have the correct polarity when doing this.
– BatCur+ to terminal 1
– BatCur– to terminal 2
8. Start the Sunny Island (see section 9.1”Switching on” (page72)).
9. Check the current direction: ”120.06 TotBatCur”.
Current Direction: Discharging the Battery
• No generator / grid connected
• Loads are being supplied
The value of the battery current is positive.
Current Direction: Charging the Battery
• Generator / grid connected
• Loads are not/are marginally supplied
• Battery is being charged
The value of the battery current is negative.
