Risk of contamination. Hot water is more likely to contain
contaminants, such as corrosion from metallic pipes or boilers.
• Only use cold tap water in the water tank.
Risk of burn injury. Parts of the appliance become hot during
use.
• During operation, only touch the buttons, selectors, or heat
insulated handles. All other parts can get hot.
• Never remove the portalter during the brewing process.
• Be careful when emptying the portalter directly after use.
The appliance and the coee dregs are still very hot.
• During or directly after the steaming process, only touch the
steam and hot water wand by using the thermo-insulated
loop. The steaming wand gets hot.
• Do not point the tip of the steaming wand directly at the
bottom of the cup.
• Never point the steam and hot water wand towards people,
animals, or moisture sensitive items.
Risk of product damage. Physical shock may damage the
internal components of the appliance.
• Only lift the appliance by holding the base.
• Do not drop the appliance and avoid impacts.
