What to do if the Somatex Maco Multi Matic Indoor Furnishing fitting is not being cut and air is released?
    • S
      Sharon GreenAug 2, 2025
If the fitting is not being cut or the sinking isn't spread enough, and air releases from item at aerial position 2, it's likely that the piston seals at position 1.8 of the spare parts list are worn out. To resolve this, replace the seals by removing the hollow core screws at position 29 to disassemble the rear part of the cropping cylinder. Then, reassemble the cropper as described under maintenance 4.2 and vent it.

What to do if oil or air comes out of the Somatex Indoor Furnishing bore?
    • J
      Julie RobinsonAug 6, 2025
If oil and/or air come out of the bore at position 8, or air blows out sidewards from the press ram of your Somatex Indoor Furnishing, this indicates that the piston seals at positions 1.8 & 1.9 and/or rod seals at position 1.3 of the spare parts list are worn out. You should replace the seals by removing the front part of the cropping cylinder by unscrewing the hollow core screws at position 27. While reassembling, tighten the screw at position 27 with a torque of 23 Nm. Finally, reassemble the cropper as described under maintenance 4.2 and vent it.

Why is oil leaking from the Somatex Indoor Furnishing ventilation filter?
    • G
      gosborneAug 11, 2025
If oil leaks out from the ventilation filter at position 2 in your Somatex Indoor Furnishing, it's likely that the piston rod seal at position 1.17 of the spare parts list is worn out. To fix this, disassemble the cropper as described above, then remove the nut at position 1.15 to change the seal at position 1.17; reassemble the cropper as instructed.

    • O
      onealjamesAug 17, 2025
If the Somatex Indoor Furnishing fitting is not cut or the sinking is no longer spread out, it could be due to too little oil in the transmission cylinder or low oil pressure. To resolve this, top up the oil as described in section 4.2 Chapter 2 and/or check the pressure.

How to fix unclean punching in Somatex Maco Multi Matic Indoor Furnishing?
    • M
      morrowdawnAug 22, 2025
If the punching is not clean, and no holes are drilled by your Somatex Indoor Furnishing, it indicates that the punch and die are worn out, and/or the piercing punch is broken. To solve this, replace the punch if broken as described under 4.3 and/or file the parts in case of wear-out.

Why the Somatex Maco Multi Matic Indoor Furnishing fitting cannot be placed on the stroke rod side?
    • P
      padillareginaAug 27, 2025
If the fitting cannot be placed on the stroke rod side of your Somatex Indoor Furnishing, or only with difficulty, it is probably because the Fibroflex – Round spring is worn out, and/or the punch guides need lubrication. Replace the round spring as described in 4.3 and/or grease the punch guides as indicated in 4.3 Chapter 10.
