1 Introduction
The Sonifex S1 Mixer is a compact, low cost, xed format radio on-air mixing console
designed to cater for a wide and far reaching broadcast market. On the surface, it is simple
and easy to use but it also has hidden layer of variety and exibility for those who like to get
into the heart of their products, tweak the engine so to speak. Using the latest technology
components, S1 oers digital audio quality with analogue reliability. S1 has both digital and
analogue input channels, together with simultaneous analogue and digital outputs.
