Why are there blank areas in the Edit menu of my Sony DPP-FP67?
    • S
      Shannon BriggsSep 23, 2025
If there are blank areas at the top and bottom of the previewed image in the Edit menu of your Sony Printer, it is because if an image is extremely stretched vertically or horizontally, blank areas may appear in the Edit menu. The standard aspect ratio of an image shot with a digital camera is 3:4. When you use a recording/editing device other than the printer to edit and save an image, the image is often saved as a printing image wider than 3:4 aspect ration. In the image list, those images are displayed with upper and edges cut and displayed in black.

If your Sony Printer is not feeding paper, make sure the print paper is properly loaded. Here are some things to check: * Use the correct set of print paper and ink ribbon. * Load the print paper in the correct direction in the tray. * Do not exceed the maximum of 20 sheets of print paper in the tray. Remove any extra sheets if necessary. * Riffle the print paper thoroughly before inserting it into the tray. * Ensure the print paper is not bent or folded before printing to prevent printer malfunctions.

Why are some images not displayed or printed on my Sony DPP-FP67?
    • K
      Karen SmallSep 13, 2025
If some images are not displayed or printed on your Sony Printer, the file used for printing might be damaged. If an image is not compatible with DCF, it may not print even if displayed on a PC monitor. Also, the printer can only handle up to 999 image files. If there are more, use a PC or PictBridge mode. Finally, if the file name includes characters other than alphanumeric characters, the file name or image may not display correctly.

    • W
      wagnertanyaSep 14, 2025
If the file name is not displayed correctly on your Sony Printer, it is because when you name or rename an image file on your computer and its file name includes characters other than alphanumeric characters, the file name may not be displayed correctly. For a file created with a PC application, the first 8 characters of its file name will be displayed as the file name.

Why does the LCD screen on my Sony Printer display no images?
    • P
      Patricia BallardSep 3, 2025
If the LCD screen on your Sony Printer is not displaying any images, insert a memory card or connect a USB memory properly. Also, ensure that the memory card or USB memory contains recorded images and that the file formats are compatible with the printer. If an image is not compatible with the DCF standard, it may not be printed even if it displays on a PC monitor.
