D2800 to D2807, D3302 to D3309 (J, K-6): CPU status LEDs
Indicate the status of the onboard CPU.
Switches
S100 (K-5): RESET
Pressing this switch resets only the on board CPU.
S300 (J, K-9): Not used usually. (Set to all OFF at factory shipping.)
Changes the board operating status.
Bit Factory Setting Description
1 OFF Selects a boot program starting method.
OFF: The unit is started by the normal boot program.
ON: The unit is started by the backed up boot program. If the program has not been
written in the backup area, the unit is not started.
2 OFF If the data in the boot program area is broken, the recovery operation is performed.
The backed up boot program data is copied to the normal area only once at power-
on.
OFF: No operation
ON: Recovery operation is performed.

Bit Factory Setting Description
1 OFF Sets whether to activate the monitor at startup.
OFF: Normal startup
ON: The monitor is started and application programs do not run.
2 OFF Imapro (IC6) production check
OFF: Normal use
ON: For testing
3 OFF For debug (fatal self-diagnosis error ignoring mode)
OFF: Normal operation (The unit does not start if a fatal error is present. If a fatal
error is detected during self-diagnosis, operation is terminated.)
ON: The unit is started ignoring a fatal self-diagnosis error during startup. Even if
a fatal error is detected as a result of routine self-diagnosis during normal operation,
the error is ignored and operation continues.
4 OFF Factory use (always OFF)
5 OFF Factory use (always OFF)
6 OFF Factory use (always OFF)
7 OFF Factory use (always OFF)
8 OFF Sets forcible factory startup mode.
If the user set data saved in this unit is broken for some reason and normal startup
is disabled, the unit can be forcibly started with the factory settings.
OFF: Normal startup
ON: Forcible startup with the factory mode.
