Keyboard shortcuts
The following shortcuts represent the default configuration. Your system may differ if you’ve used the Customize Keyboard window to
customize your keyboard shortcuts. For more information, see Customizing keyboard shortcuts on page 325.
The available shortcut keys are arranged in tables according to function.
Project file shortcuts

Create a new data window Ctrl+N
Create a new data window without displaying the New Window dialog Ctrl+Shift+N
Open a sound file or project Ctrl+O
Save modified sound data back to the file Ctrl+S
Display File Properties window Alt+Enter
Close the active data window Ctrl+W
Exit Sound Forge Alt+F4
