  To resolve the issue where the SphygmoCor XCEL device cannot be detected, verify these items: Ensure the device is connected to your computer and plugged into an AC outlet with the power switch in the 'on' position. Check that the Power light is illuminated. If it's not, refer to condition 2 'The POWER light is off'. Confirm the correct communications port is selected in the configuration settings by selecting System – Find Module from the Setup Screen. If you're using a USB Adapter, ensure the USB drivers have been installed. If the problem persists, contact AtCor Medical Technical Support.
