4.4 Pressure tappings
The ILVA20 has a two way manifold with integral pressure tappings for connection to the MVT10 mass
flow transmitter assembly using impulse lines. These are threaded " NPT and are clearly marked HI
(upstream) and LO (downstream). Care should be taken to ensure that these are correctly connected. It
also has filling points to commission the assembly.
The ILVA 20 is supplied with flexible impulse hoses as standard, either 1m or 2m in length (preference should
be made at time of order).
The flexible impulse hoses should follow as near as possible the same route and secured to prevent them
vibrating or being snagged by moving personnel or machinery.
Ensure correct temperature rating of the bracket is used when fixing the hoses.
