3.4 Electrical installation
Note: Before installing read the 'Safety information' in Section 1.
Warning:
Isolate the mains supply before touching any of the wiring
terminals as these may be wired to hazardous voltages.
Use only the connectors supplied with the product, or
spares obtained from Spirax Sarco Limited. Use of dierent
connectors may compromise product safety and approvals.
Ensure there is no condensation within the unit before
installing and connecting the power.
3.4.1 Wiring
The screw terminals accept wire sizes from 0.5 to 1.5 mm (16 to 22 AWG).
Hinged covers prevent hands or metal making accidental contact with live
wires. The rear terminal screws should be tightened to 0.4 Nm (3.5 lbf in).
