Removal of mounts
To decrease the risk of damage, use both hands and firm and
steady movements when you remove a mount. Never yank on
it.
Preparations
Detach the dock and Car Thing from the mount before
removing it. This makes it easier to remove the mount and
also prevents damage to the dock and Car Thing.
Remove CD mount
1. Flatten the mount slightly.
2. Gently slide one end of the mount out from the CD
slot.
3. Slide the other end out.
Remove vent mount
1. Slide the grips of the mount towards you until the
mount is completely out of the vent.
Remove dash mount
The best way to detach the dash mount is by using dental
floss or a similar type of string.
1. Put the string behind the mount.
2. Move the string back and forth in a sawing motion to
detach the adhesive.
It’s also possible to detach the dash mount by pulling on it
and moving it back and forth to loosen the adhesive.
Important! Never use a sharp object, such as a knife or
scalpel, as this could damage your dashboard.
