Safety Precautions After Engine Start
Failure to perform an inspection after starting the engine will result in delayed detection of machine
abnormalities and may result in personal accident and machine damage.
The inspection should be carried out in an open space. Unauthorized personnel must not access the
machine.
Check the operation of the equipment, the running of the machine, the support of the outriggers, the
up and down of the winch, the rotation of the boom, the ups and downs, the telescopic, and the lifting of
the hook.
Check the sound, vibration, temperature and smell of the machine, and check for bad factors such as
meter errors, air leaks, oil leaks, water leaks, etc. Be especially careful with fuel leaks.
When an abnormality is found, be sure to repair the abnormal parts in time.
Using the machine without maintenance may result in personal accident and/or machine failure.
Precautions for high temperature hydraulic oil
When the hydraulic oil temperature exceeds 80 degrees, the high
pressure hoses and seals can be damaged by heat and may cause the
oil mist to burn the skin.
If the temperature of the hydraulic oil exceeds 80 degrees, stop
the operation and wait for the oil to cool.
When the hook is continuously raised and lowered at high engine
speed, especially when the long rope is dropped, the oil temperature
will rise. Be especially careful during these operations.
At least two people are required to work during the maintenance period of engine operation
To prevent accidents, do not attempt maintenance while the
engine is running.
If maintenance is carried out while the engine is running for
unavoidable reasons, please be sure to follow the following
precautions.
Sit in the driver's seat and check with each other to ensure that
the engine can stop at any time.
Be particularly careful when working near rotating parts that may
become entangled.
Do not touch the operating lever. If it is inevitable to use the
joystick, please signal to others to evacuate to a safe place.
Do not touch the alternator belt or other components as this may
damage tools or cut limbs.
