Section-2 Safety and Information Labels
1. Thoroughly clean and dry the area where the label is
to be installed.
2. Determine the exact label position before removing the
backing paper. Center the label so no edge will extend
beyond the flat surface to which it is being affixed.
3. Remove the smaller section of the backing paper.
4. While holding the exposed adhesive away from the
surface, rest the covered portion of the label on the
surface. Align the label in the chosen position.
5. Starting at the center, press the sticky portion of the
label to the machine surface. Press out any trapped air
bubbles as the label is applied.
6. Fold the label back to expose the remaining backing
paper. Peel the backing paper from the adhesive while
carefully pressing the label into position.
7. Small air bubbles can be deflated by piercing them
with a pin and pressing out the air using the slick side
of the backing paper.
