The touch probe P100 allows you to measure distances and nd zero points along the Z-axis. The P100 is designed to
be used with the STEPCRAFT D- and M-Series. Although it is generally possible to use the product on other and on third
party machines. The control softwares UCCNC and WinPC-NC come with built in features which enable you to effective-
ly use the probe. The 2 m long cable gives you enough space to place the probe anywhere on the machine table. The
grounding clamp ensures the correct functionality of the product, regardless of the individual machine setup. The P100
is connected to the Sub-D 15 jack of the CNC system by using a signal converter. This converter fullls two jobs. On the
one hand it processes the signals of the touch probe. On the other, it daisy chains the Sub-D 15 signals. Therefore you
can connect your accessories to the signal converter instead of the CNC systems Sub-D 15 port.
2 Description
2�2 Intended Scope of Use
This product is generally designed for the usage with a CNC router but the touch probe is specically designed for the use
along with STEPCRAFT machines from the D- and M-Series. The touch probe is intended for private users and for sample
production in the commercial sector. It is unsuitable for large-scale production and integration into assembly lines.
