Why won't my Stihl Pressure Washer start when I pull the trigger?
- BBrian BowersJul 28, 2025
If your Stihl Pressure Washer doesn't start even when you pull the spray gun trigger, here's what you can check: * Ensure the power supply cord is properly connected to a working electrical outlet. * If the GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) has tripped, reset it. Try switching off other devices on the same circuit. If it still fails, disconnect the pressure washer and have it inspected by a STIHL servicing dealer. * The motor might be too hot. Let the pressure washer cool down for about 5 minutes and clean the nozzle.
