13 After Finishing Work
13.1 Preparing for Transportation or Storage
To prepare the pressure washer for transportation or
storage:
If cleaning agent has been used: flush the pressure
washer.
Switch off the pressure washer, @ 11.2.
Disconnect the pressure washer from the power supply.
Disconnect the pressure washer from the water supply.
Press the spray gun trigger to relieve any remaining
pressure in the system.
Lock the spray gun trigger.
Disconnect the water hose.
Remove and clean the nozzle and spray lance.
Remove the spray gun and let the rest of the water run out
of the spray gun.
If the pressure washer will be exposed to freezing
temperatures, protect it with antifreeze or take other
measures outlined below, @ 13.2.
Clean the pressure washer.
Roll up the high-pressure hose (1) evenly.
Roll up the power supply cord (2) and hang it onto the
brackets (3).
Secure the power supply cord with the clip (4).
Insert the detergent spray set (5).
Insert the nozzle (6).
Place the spray attachment in one of the holders (7).
13.2 Protecting the Pressure Washer in Winter
Conditions
Removing Water from the System
To remove any remaining water from the system:
Switch off the pressure washer, @ 11.2.
Disconnect the pressure washer from the power supply.
Shut off the water supply.
Relieve system pressure.
Disconnect the water hose, @ 9.
Drain the water out of the high-pressure hose and water
hose.
Connect the power supply cord to a properly installed
electrical outlet that matches the voltage and electrical
frequency stated on the pressure washer's rating plate.
Switch on the pressure washer and let the pump run for up
to 30 seconds until the water flow stops. Remaining water
will be eliminated from the system.
Switch off the pressure washer and disconnect it from the
power supply.
